1. Shave or wax and exfoliate 24 hours before tanning.
2. Moisturize dry areas like knees, elbows, backs of hands, and feet with a light moisturizer.
3. Apply evenly over your legs, arms, and torso.
4. Cover all areas and make sure you don’t leave any gaps for a streak-free tan.
5. Allow it 10-15 minutes to dry before putting any clothes on.
6. The sunless tan will start to develop within the first few hours. However, full-color development is seen 24 hours after application.
7. For a darker tan reapply after 24 hours
8. Repeat every 3-5 days or when needed. Moisturize daily to maintain results.

Does the oil come out as a spray or squirt?

It's more of a squirt but not like a water spray bottle on the tightest fitting. It is easy to control where the spray goes, it's not a high pressure type. That way you can easily control where you apply it, and it's not as messy.

How long does this take to dry before putting on clothes?

We would recommend waiting at least 10-15 minutes before putting on your loose fitting clothing.

Can this product be mixed in with body moisturizers and then applied? I’ve done that with another tanning oil.

You are welcome to try it! We just need to advise you that we aren't sure what ingredients your moisturizer will contain or how it will react with the ingredients in our tanning oil - so you should do a test patch first in any case just to make sure there are no adverse effects to your skin. It can also make the tan blotchy and will most likely make the color less intense.

Can sunscreen be applied over this oil?

Yes, but we recommend waiting 24 hours for the tanner to set so that the sunscreen does not interfere with your results :)

Can I have this tanner on my face as well? Or just from neck down?

Yes, you can. In case you have sensitive skin, we do recommend to do a patch test 24 h before.

What is the shelf life after I open the container?

The shelf life is 6 months. You can still use the product 6 months after it was opened but it will be much less effective. We do not recommend using it 1 year after the product was opened, especially if it was stored in a warm room.
