Can I apply this on my face as well?

Yes, you can. In case you have sensitive skin, we do recommend to do a patch test 24 h before.

How dark can it get?

Our tan extender is meant to prolong the sunless tan that was achieved by using one of our self-tanners (self-tanning oil or self-tanning lotion). This tan extender gives moisture and enhances the sunless tan. It is not meant to be used as a sunless tanner because the percentage of DHA is too low to produce a sunless tan on its own.

Will this lotion stain white clothing?

No, after it dries (in 10-15 minutes) - it will not rub off on sheets or clothes.

How long should I wait after tanning in a tanning bed and using tanning bed lotion to apply this lotion?

We would recommend using it a few hours after using a tanning bed. However, please make sure you don't apply it to irritated and/or burned skin.
Does this work for your real tan from a bed or is it only good for self tanners and spray tans?
Yes, it works for any tan including spray tan, sunless tan, tanning bed or natural tan from the sun.

Do I have to use mitts to put it on or will it color my hands?

Yes, it is recommended to use tanning mitts. Or wash your hands after applications. It contains a low percentage of DHA, an ingredient that makes the product effective and different from normal body lotions. Because of DHA (which extends the life of your tan), you need to wash your hands after application to prevent unwanted stains on your palms.

How long after I spray can I use the extender?

We recommend waiting 10 hours after applying self tanning oil or lotion so that the tan has plenty of time to fully develop :)
